What is the number of zones?
There are 10 safari zones for tourists. Zones are allotted by the government authorities when the booking is made. However, if you prefer any particular zone, it will be allotted subject to availability.
Which is the best zone?
Honestly, there are no best zones as all the zones are equally good. Ultimately, your sheer luck of sighting the tiger matters.
What is sharing and exclusive?
On your booking, you get allotted a government-approved vehicle based on the number of tourists in your group. It is on a sharing basis with other tourists. A driver and a guide also accompany you. If you want an exclusive safari with your own group, we can arrange a private vehicle and expert naturalist at an additional cost.
What type of clothes do you suggest for the tour?
Avoid wearing bright or flashy colours. Choose green, brown, khaki, or other neutral shades that blend naturally with the forest environment.
What is the weather in Ranthambore?
March to July is hot and dry. December to February is cool and pleasant, while August to November offers comfortable weather, making it an ideal time to visit.
Is there any off day at the park?
No. Ranthambore National Park remains open every day during the safari season, except when closed by the authorities due to weather or special conditions.
Any child policy?
Children of all ages are allowed. Children below 5 years can accompany their parents without a separate ticket if they do not occupy an individual seat.
How do I get my refund on cancellation of my safari?
Safari bookings are non-refundable as per the Rajasthan Forest Department policy. Once confirmed, cancellations cannot be refunded.
How can I cancel and reschedule my safari?
Rescheduling or cancellation is generally not permitted after booking. Please confirm your travel plans before making a reservation.
Is there toilet facility available at the park?
Yes, of course washrooms are available at the entrance and also at different points.
Any provision of moving on foot, camping, staying in hides or machans, night safari, cycling, trekking inside the park?
No leaving the vehicle is strictly not allowed unless it is to use the washroom.
What are the documents that we need to carry along with us?
Please carry all the ID proofs and documents that you presented while booking the safari.
What are the precautions I need to take for my safety?
You will be totally safe in the vehicle as long as you don’t get out of it.
How do I contribute to the Tiger Conservation Foundation for Ranthambore National Park?
There is an office in the city where you can personally go and make the contribution.
What are the pick and drop facilities available?
Yes, the pick up and drop will be done from your hotel on booking your safari.
